It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance. It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give, and the soul afraid of dyin' that never learns to live. Thinking of you as you take this step towards a happier healthier life . *Hugs*

Renee, December 5th must seem like it is FOREVER and a DAY away. I know my date does. Everyone tells me it will be here before I know it, but I doubt it. I am praying that your physician will be able to move you up in the scheduling. Just take the time you do have now to start preparing. Do as squirrels do when they gather nuts for the winter...start gathering your supplements and vitamins for after your surgery. May the heavens guide you to a new and wonderful life.

September 12th Dear Renee: Greetings! I understand!!! My highest weight was 336. I had all the same problems as you. I had my surgery on August 20th and am now under 300. So it works, but I can't say its been easy---it is really just a tool! You really have to retrain your mind and eating habits. Some days are easy, some days are really HARD! Anyway, even though I'm married now, I was a single parent for 13 years. I know all about depression, too. Please feel free to write; I'll always answer you back. By the way, I'm 37 years old, married, and mother to two children---a 17 year old son and a four year old daughter. Sincerely, Lori Ann
