thank you , very much for your support. I found another Surgeon that is willing to respect my wishes. Dr. Allan Huffman. His offices are in hendersonville Nc.. about 2.5 hrs away. however they understand. Sad part is I will have to go through all the formalities all over. Tommorow im calling Medicaid to let them know of the change so they can prepare for it. At worse.. surgery would be in Dec. I have called almost every surgeon in this region. Insurance acceptance is a problem. I now feel better. Wont jump off that building lol.. the curb. Gonna keep my head up. Talk to you all soon.

Michael I am so sorry to hear that your surgeon would not respect your wishes. I am glad you stuck to your beliefs, I know how ready you were for this surgery. I wish you luck in quickly finding another surgeon that will show cocern not just about your body but about your soul as well. I have a sister that follows the same beliefs you do so I understand how strong you had to be to walk out of there.

need help.. I just walked away from surgery this am, because the DR. Changed his mind on respecting my "NO BLOOD" issue... Im depressed. I know I did the right thing. Looking for support. Im in Charlotte NC. This went against my Religious Beliefs and he should have respected that, instead of trying to Pressure me. He showed his TRUE colors. He knew my request prior to surgery. I had IV in, Blood Thinner in, Gown on, Zantac in stomach, and was about to be put to sleep when, we had the argument in the OR. This is a disaster. I feel like jumping off a building. lol. at least a 6 in curb. Then he had the audacity to say, " Im the Dr. your the patient, i been doing this for 6 years" OOOOOOOOOOOOO im so upset. and disappointed.

I have contacted the hosital where Nitro was to have his surgery and so far they have no news or family memebers there for him or with him. I guess as they say, NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS WITH GARY GANEW..... lol (lord i am old for thinking of that) anyways, I will update you all as soon as I know something. I am trying to get ahold of his wife, Letitia, and see what she has to say.
