ANGEL UPDATE...I spoke to Gina on the phone she sounds alot better today more alert. She said she is getting up walking and doing everything she needs to but she is still not feeling very well. She said she just feels lousy. The Dr said one of the reasons is because she was not in optimal health going into this she had already been so sick for several weeks. They are considering her going to a rehab facility for a week or two when she gets out of the hospital mayber tomorrow. I think they will just wait and see how she is doing one day at a time. She did say she has been having a slight fever so she needs all the prayers and well wishes she can get right now. I know that she appreciates all of your support and concern for her.

Hi Everyone, I am leaving tonight to go to Atlanta as I have to have some preop testing done in the early am tomorrow.. and then also see the doctor for preop appt and the hospital for preadmission testing.. I do appreciate all the words of encouragement and prayers being sent my way through this difficult time.. Thank you all very much.. I will be back soon and posting updates again.. Hugs,

ANGEL UPDATE--I just spoke to Gina's hubby who said that she got out of surgery at 5:30 which made her surgery about 6 hrs. She recieved two units of blood. I think there were alot of ulcers to deal with and he also found an ulcer on her liver. She is expected to be in recovery for 2 hrs. So she should be in a room around 8pm EST. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as her recovery period begins. I know that she will sprinting down the hall so she can get the dreaded NG tube out. She is such a wonderful caring person that I cannnot tell you what a joy it is for me to know her and love her. Will update as I know more. Gina's Friend and Angel

Hi Folks, I hope everyone here had a Blessed Easter Day!!! I spent my last Sunday before my revision surgery attending church services, and having dinner with my sister . It was a great day!!! I am getting a little nervous as I approach my revision surgery on Wed am. I am sad that my surgeon is having to come in and do my surgery on his one day off. I will be leaving either late tomorrow evening to go to Atlanta or very early Tuesday am.. We havent decided yet. Take care.. I hope to be back posting soon..
