Hello Amos,
I am doing much better.. I no longer have any infection according to my last labs.. Praise the Lord!!!!
Mother's Day , my nephew and his lovely bride came to visit my sister.. I am currently staying with her while I continue to recuperate from my revision surgery. He made me feel so good.. he told me he could feel my ribs, see my collarbone.. and I looked great..
I went to the pcp's office last Tuesday to get my weekly B12 injection.. I have to make sure that I get B12 right now weekly due to the fact that I have pernicious anemia.. The nurse weighed me.. drumroll please!!!!!!! I have lost an amazing 92 pounds in a short but rough 5 months..
I do want to emphasize to all you pre and post ops.. I had a very serious but also a very , very rare complication to my original surgery.. Yes, staple line disruptions do occur.. but usually as a result of being in a car accident, or some other heavy impact type accident.. Most staple line disruptions dont usually occur within the first 4 months after an original surgery.. I also had bleeding ulcers on my jejunum that spread to my liver.. This is most rare.. Would I have this surgery again.. I would because the 92 pounds gone have made it easier for me to move.. no more knee pain from arthritis.. and my asthma is better controlled..
I wish all you preops.. quick approvals and surgery dates.. and for you post ops.. I pray for quick recoveries.. and much success in your journeys to healthier and thinner bodies..
May God Bless you all..
Hugs,
Gina
