Dovie, thanks for posting back...I was always a bif meat eater and it was a bit hard to get used to at first. I started buying tuna and deviled ham, canned Sue Bee chicken. I added boiled egg, a bit or relish, and low fat Miracle Whip. I would mash the meat up really well with fork or would through it in the food processor with the egg for a few secs to make sure it was pulverized well enough. Thick beef stew, ground up was very satisfying and so was refied beans w/ cheese and chili with cheese a bit later on. Now I can eat bacon, chicken breast, lean hamburger, pork chops, roasts...2 oz at a time, tiny pices, chewd like crazy...but I get my meat. It takes a bit getting used to but its not so bad. Good luck!!!
