I am very happy. I went for my first fill yesterday in Mississauga. I was all worked up about the fill because I had heard that the proceedure hurt. Well I am here to tell you. That is CRAZY...We drove 3hr to get there for a 2 1/2 minute appointement with the fill nurse. My appointment was at 11 am and we were back on the road on our way home by 11:15 am, and that included signing in and waiting a few minutes in the waiting room. It was super fast. It has beeen almost 6 weeks since my surgery and I already had 4cc in my band. I received 1cc. I can feel it big time....restriction, but not chocking,,,
All is good.................

Well I am now on solid foods. Things were a bit tough in the beginning, but have settled down. I have received my date for my first fill. July 23rd. I cannot wait. I would like to loose another 10-15 lbs by September 2nd-that is the D-Day. I go back to work. I am still working out every day. and toning. Feels great!!!!!! It may be slow coming off but it is well worth it.

Well, here it is 2 weeks post-op. I am doing fine. Of course with the band weight loss is slow but if I stay in tune to it and my body --all is good. I went back to the gym this week, and feel great.I am eating what I need to and nothing more -I am now on soft foods. I watch it very closely. Getting my water in can be challenging but I am working on that. I am definitely one happy camper.......:)
So far so good....

Well, I am 1 1/2 weeks post-op and things seem to be going well. I am down almost 14lbs. I am eating pureed food. I find this stage difficult. I have a hard time with the texture of pureed food. I would rather eat cream soups or even just the broths. I know that I have to get it down so I do it, but it is not easy.
The insicions are looking pretty good. I still have some tendreness where the port is, but the majority of bruising is gone. I feel good- but still adjusting. It is hard to get use to the full feeling and not drinking as much as I want at once. Sipping is not my thing. Having a reg. meal would be a good thing.
I am hoping to get back to the gym this week, even if it is just walking on the treadmill. we'll see. Well that is it...Talk soon.

Hi everyone....Well I had my surgery on Friday. Today is the first day that I feel well enough to actually get up and do things. My stomach is a bit sore ,but not to bad. I have gas pains and hunger pains more then anything. So I have eaten jello, yogurt, drank water etc.... So I am following the guide lines from the Doctor and see what happens....I didn't think I would be hungry...Is this normal...not sure... 2 DAYS out and I'm hungry ummmmm.

Well, here it is Monday...Ugh...Normally I dispize Mondays--but today I am feeling pretty good. I was so completely in control this weekend (tap myself on the back). Friday night was good. I stayed in control did what I needed to and " voila" I pulled it off. I have a great bunch of girls that I work with that super supportive. THANKS GIRLS--YOU ROCK !!!!!
Saturday was a clean up day. Outside I cut the grass, did the trim, trim the trees and bushes that had grown out of control. It was a whole day thing. How many calories does doing yard work burn? It was sooooo worth it ,now my house looks great.
I can`t believe it, " Only 4 DAYS TO GO " I AM SOOO EXCITED............................... I have to reread my information books and start on the What to do /days before etc.....
