Hi Helen, Thank you so much for your kind words. This journey has truly been an enlightening adventure for me. One I would not have traded for anything. Not even with all the turmoil that has come along with it. My main goal in having WLS was to acheive good health. The emotional trip I've taken has just been an added benefit. I say benefit because even with the bad, the good has so outweighed it. I had hoped my profile would bring some understanding of the emotional aspects of this adventure to anyone who read it. But more importantly, my profile is, for me a journal of what I'm feeling and going through. This surgery has a profound effect on all of us, whether we realize it or not. You sweet girl are so beautiful on the outside, but as I am learning in getting to know you, that beauty is also on the inside. I wish for you to let that beauty explode for all to see.
