July 20,2004 I have been on the phone all afternoon just calling all my doctors to fax a letter of referral to the Dr. I see on Monday, and to the Veterans Hospital in Huntington, WV. I also called Medic Alert, they advise that all wls post-ops register with Medic Alert. It could save their life, in case of an ER. If the ER doesn't know about your surgery, they could end up doing more harm then good. So please register with Medic Alert. 1-800-id-alert. I urge you to do this. You'll be glad you did. kathy
