Hi. My name is Toni and we were surgery date buddies. We are 8 1/2 months out now and I just wanted to check in with everyone to see how your progress is going! Hope you are healthier and happier and getting close to your goal. I am down 97 pounds, with 20 more to go to my goal weight of 130 (lap rny with Dr. Champion in Atlanta, Georgia). Life just keeps getting better and better!!! Best to you on your continued journey. Please keep in touch any time! Have a great one.

Hi all..... well it is now 4 weeks since my big day. I am finally starting to get a bit of strenth back and the energy is at least starting in my mind. I now keep thinking of all the things I want to do and couldn't do before. I am already walking further than I could before surgery. I am off all diabetes medicine and all blood pressure medicine and no longer am using my CPAP machine. Although weight loss has slowed down a bit, I have lost 45 lbs. so far. I really think that I saved my life by going through with this. Will talk to you all soon. Rick
