Hello Pamela! - <b>Congratulations</b> on your upcoming surgery date. My prayers and best wishes are with you as you take the first steps down the path to a healthier and thinner you. I look forward to making that same journey soon and will be anxiously awaiting your "updates" to your profile as it progresses. Know that you are not alone and that there are MANY of us that will have you in our prayers on your very special day. Dont forget to walk, walk, WALK right after surgery, no matter how tired you are. AND drink that protein, lots and lots of it. Let me know what you think about that "grape" one we've been talking about. Hugs and Aloha - Lei <i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i>

Pamela~ Thank you for the thoughtful message! Since we do have the same surgery date we will have to stay in touch after surgery to help encourage each other with our new life and the new set of challenges it will bring us. You will be in my thoughts and prayers on the 20th. Currently I am trying to focus on all of the positive results of this surgery that will greatly impact my life daily to help get through the last week of nerves...I hope your list is as rewarding as mine! I often close my eyes now and can actually feel the sun warming my body as I am biking in the woods, or I can feel the chill of the water as I am swimming in Lake Michigan... :) A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future and loves you today just the way you are. May God bless you on your day of surgery, steady your Doctor's hands and watch over you during your recovery! Peace, love and joy~Kristin
