Hope that you have a quick recovery and a wonderful journey down the losing road!

1:20 PM and I just spoke with Pam at the hospital. She is feeling a little rough and her throat is irritated from the tube. They just now started feeding her ice chips. Pam said the pain medication was doing the job and she had been up in the chair. She had the open rny also. I hope to get up to see her tomorrow and had intended to go today but my Grandson came home with me after his ballgame. Keep Pam in your prayers for a fast recovery and renewal of health and life. God bless all of you and have a great weekend. Pam's Angel Janice

I just spoke to Pam this morning, and other than her telling me that she feels like she has been hit by a Mack Truck, she is doing well. Her mouth is very dry and she still has her NG tube in place. She is hoping to have something to drink today and states that it appears that the nurses are understaffed. She was sitting up in a chair and her husband was with her when I called. You did it sweetie, you are on the losing side now too! Take it one day at a time and you will be up and walking and crusing those hallways soon! God Bless and God Speed! ANGEL NEWS!!! ANGEL NEWS! Pam's husband called me about 3:30 this afternoon and said Pam was in her room and doing fine although a little nauseated. Her surgery was scheduled at 7am but did not start until about 7:55am. Pam came out of surgery at around 10:00 am and did not have to be put in ICU as the dr. thought might be needed. She is in room 1076 in Rhodes hall at OSU. Todd said if all continues to go well she should be released late Monday. Please keep her in your prayers for a prompt healing and success. Pam has been so excited for this chance to renew her life. I hope to visit her this weekend so fill her page up with support and prayers so I can print for her. Thanks to all for taking the time to support each other. God bless Janice
