Kenneth S. 19 years ago

Hi, Ken's sister here. Ken was moved to a nursing home (old model) with little medical care - just maintenance. He is down to 282 and looking good! He's eating now, but depressed about the length of time and the lack of improvement. His colostomy leaks and that keeps him from getting rehab (sitting up in bed). PLEASE mail Christmas cards or notes to him -- he has no phone. Gwen NEW ADDRESS: Ken Svejda Cedar Valley Health Center 6124 Raytown Road Raytown, MO 64133

Ken: You have gotten off to a rough start, but it will all be worth it. Believe me when I say that things will get better each day and as soon as you are home in your own bed, you will see it. You will be so happy that you had this surgery and the quality of your life will improve tremendously. Your friends at OH.com are thinking of you. Lynne

Kenneth, May God keep his healing hand on you and bring you through this quickly. Take care of yourself and you've done a wonderful thing in having the surgery to take care of yourself. Keep thinking positive and you'll be updating us yourself soon!
