I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was truly an inspiration to every life he touched. My sincere sympathy to all of Pete's family and also to his good friend, Linda Almaonte. He will be sadly missed. Hugs, love, and peace - Mel

I hope Peters family know how much we loved Peter , and how much he shared and touched our lives! Most obese people are alone and ashamed , Pete did his best to make sure NONE of us ever felt alone or ashamed,The lord only loaned us Pete and we need to be thankful for the time he was here, and hang on to the hope he gave us!

My condolences to Pete's family and friends. I wish I had contacted him and told him what an inspiration he was to me. I felt like I knew him from reading his story over and over and reading his messages. I am so glad he got to LIVE before he died! He is now an angel watching over all of us.

I am so sad to hear of Pete's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Pete's family and to Linda Almonte. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Pete personally. I am in awe of his weight loss accomplishment and SO grateful for the time and energy he gave to put a positive image on WLS out to the public and to medical professionals. And also for the time he spent encouraging thousands of others to take this opportunity and have the chance to be healthier. He was a true angel on earth and will be rewarded in heaven for everything he accomplished. God bless you, Pete.
