FINALLY, I have reached a GOAL and joined the club! The scale said 401.6....heck I don't mind to round it up to 402 it's still 100 pounds less than what I started! Just 3 more pounds to my next goal of being under 400.

Sarah, congrats on your weight loss!!! You have done terrific. I'm 3.5 months out and have only lost 62 lbs., so I really don't think you're as "slow" a loser as you think! I know it must be terribly frustrating, though, to suffer from the swelling that you have. Oh my word, it looks SO PAINFUL and miserable! Tell me it's gone down at least SOME since becoming a post-op! Has it? I just can't imagine. Anyhoo, keep up the great work! I think you're doing just wonderfully. I pray that your health starts improving soon so that you can focus on how well you're really doing.

Sarah, Happy 4 months anniversary to you! You have done great. 94 pounds is great. You will keep losing every month and before long you will be at goal. I wish nothing but the best for you. A big hug coming your way! "HUGS"!

Today is my 4 month anniversary. I am down 54lbs since surgery, 94 lbs total. I have updated my profile with some thoughts on my journey so far.

Sarah, It justs seems like you have one thing go wrong after another. If I can do anything to help you stay positive and get thru it, let me know. I hope the hernia will not cause you too much pain. I root for your success daily and know you are on the road to succeed.

Well, it's official I have a hernia. My surgeon doesn't want to repair it now since there is a high chance it will just come back. He wants to wait until I've reached "goal", as long as I can handle it and it doesn't get harder and start to affect my bowels. I'm naming it Henrietta...she is expected to get bigger with time...as long as I'm getting smaller it's o.k.

HI Sarah. After you posted yesterday with pics of your Severe Lymphedema, I have to tell you, I have thought of little more, just you!! The pics just blew me away, me sitting here whining about my little bitty excess skin on my inner thighs, I had no idea there were others in such worst off conditions than my little complaints! I am sorry. My heart goes out to you and you were in my prayers last night and will continue to be in my prayers!! You have got to be a very strong young woman, to stay in college, being hospitalized so many times, your sugery, your weight, and the infections, but you continue to carry on!! I REALLY admire you Sarah!! ((((((((HUGS))))))))
