Question:
Does anyone know of a WLS friendly PCP in San Angelo, TX?

I have about a month to locate a PCP in my area that will accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas HealthSelect insurance. My pcp, Dr. Lind, told me that WLS was too drastic to consider, and that I should get back on Weight Watchers or try a double dose of fentermine instead. TO me, this seems ridiculous, since I've got almost 150 lbs to lose; I'm not asking to lose 20-30 lbs...I'm trying to lose half of my body...geez!! Does ANYONE know of a pcp in the area who's WLS friendly? I'm tired of seeing failure in the reflection of my mirror. Thanks! Lynda    — Lynda L. (posted on July 23, 2002)
