Kayla, Just remember why you started this journey. You are almost there. Know that God is with you and he has not brought you this far to fail you. Just know that you will be in my prayers and hold on. Keep looking up, your life is just beginning.

Kayla, Close your eyes, relax and let yourself think, onthe dreams you've had of being thinner and healthier. Now, picture the beautiful inner Kayla and the body of Kayla, lining up. Oh man, you have come so far. You go girl. You'll be, just fine and happy that you did it! Hugs, Normie

I lost 110 lbs in 8 months and will be 2 yrs out this June and have kept it off. This surgery will turn your life around and you won't be sorry. Keep the faith...judy

Hi Kayla: You will be in good hands, my dear. Having this surgery was the best thing I ever did for myself, and my well-being. I want to hear from you when you recover, and are on the "losing" side. Have faith, and know that this is the beginning of your new, wonderful life. I know you will do exceedingly well, and I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers. I personally have my life back thanks to surgery! I could never have imagined feeling this wonderful and free, but I do. You will enjoy the same success, Kayla! It is sooooo worth it! I know you will be another success story! Have a speedy recovery, and put yourself in the hands of your very capable Doctor.~ Much love and continued good wishes, Pam

Kayla, you can do this don't be scared, because I will be in your shoes in one week and going to need you to hold my hand. I have had 10 surgery's in 4 years I'm kinda like a pro at it now. But there is no getting used to it. Put your faith in the Lord and he will see you through. I always say a prayer as there putting me under verses counting back wards it makes things a lot easier. The long nap is great, the drugs after are awesome, you will be fine. I'm more worried about giving up the food after words. It seems really hard to belive I will not want to eat. But thats what they all have told me. So just stay focused remember why your doing it, and ask the Lord to be by your side and to guide you through it. My prayers will be with you. Please keep us posted.

Kayla, I can tell you about my experience of nearly two years ago. (Wow, it's hard to believe it's been that long.) I, too, was a bundle of jangled nerves for a few days before my surgery. I knew I was ready to do this, but I was nervous anyway. For some reason, when I awoke the morning of my surgery I was incredibly calm. I can't explain it, maybe all of the prayers I felt surrounding me helped me to remain calm. I hope you know that many of us here who have been through this already, do know what you are thinking and feeling now. We will be thinking good thoughts and praying for you. May that help to reassure and calm you. Looking back now, I wonder why I was so nervous anyway. This was absolutely the best decision I've ever made in my life. Best wishes for health and happiness always! Donna

Congrats on making this decision! I am 5 months post op today and am down 86 lbs. I feel so much better at 228 lbs. than I did at 314 lbs. I can't wait for you to be on the losing side too! Good job, Kayla!
