1-16-07. I have my first official class set up for 1-25.  I also have asked for the same 2-hour slot off every month on the same Thursday - as a long lunch hour.  I will be starting then on Atkin's.

I am going to have to change my name from thinkinboutit to "onmyway" or "goin4it" but we will see. 

1-6-07. Had my psych eval on Thursday.  It took way less time than anticipated, and I did not have to take the test with all the questions that some of my friends talked about. The psych stated he thought I was well informed, and that he thought I was ready for this journey and he will submit to my surgeon's office.  The next step will be getting started at their office!

11-30.  Going to my second support group meeting.  That also is going to be documented.  Will begin the weight loss journey. Will see a new PCP on Monday 12-4, and hopefully will start from her end on sleep study, etc. 

I have an appt Thursday, 11-30 at the surgeon's office for initial visit and eval.  I have to put up $250 at the time, to cover intial stuff and the 6 month weekly-visit MD supervised diet program.   They said it would take about 2 hours for the process.  I am excited, ambivilent, apprehensive, etc.  Afraid to hope this might actually work out for me.
