March 12, 2008 Update
Mar 12, 2008
I am currently about 114. A little on the thin side per my doc and he would like me to take meds to gain weight back but I refuse to take them at this point. I know that most people regain weight at year 2 or 3 and I don't want to gain back now and more then. If I feel I am unhealthy then I will revisit that issue but until them I am holding off on that.
It bothers me that everyday at work someone tells me I need to eat and I'm waisting away. I get very annoyed with this. If it were a friend who was really concerned it wouldn't bother me that much but the people who tell me this aren't close friends.
I never thought I would struggle finding clothes after surgery but having lost so much weight I struggle to find my size and have had to resort to the little girls sizes.
I am truely the happiest and healthiest I've ever been and wouldn't change a thing and would have surgery again if I had to...

5:00-6:00 pm I make dinner and have a few bits with the family (I will sometime make me eggs and chorizo and have that by myself)
7:00 pm last protein shake before I get ready for bed
I drink water and hot tea through-out the day.
Well that's about how my day goes. I sure hope what I am doing is ok...It seems to be working.
If you haven't tried Healthy Choice meals they are great for work. I don't feel bad not eating everything because the chicken is so darn good.
It's been a wonderful year and I am hoping to continue on the road to success.

I woke up in the morning feeling great traveled to Seattle for work and came back to my office right before lunch. I ate a small piece of a protein bar and just didn't feel right. I thought it was stuck somewhere and was just hoping with time I would feel better. At about 2 pm I went in to my bosses office letter her know that I wasn't feeling good and was going to see how things went. I went back to my desk and tried everything I could to feel better. I even tried to lie down (I keep a throw blanket and travel pillow at my desk) but that made it worse. About two hours went by and the pain was getting worse I finally made it back into my bosses office and told her i had to leave right then that something wasn't right the pain had now consumed my whole right side into my back. They offered to take me home and I declined but called my husband to let him know I wasn't feeling well and if I didn't make it home soon to come look for me. I made it home not sure how because I don't remember the drive at all. My husband wanted to take me then to the hospital but I refused thinking it was just my food stuck and I wanted to go to bed so he helped me in bed. He had school and I told him I would be fine and that he should go and just take his cell phone just in case. My older boys were home so I felt fine. I slept for a few hours and felt much better when I woke up and decided to eat a few peanuts and got sick all over again. My husband was home then so I called him to my room and I called my surgeon who told me to go right away to the ER he was on call today. We arrived at the ER at 9:45 pm and waited, waited and waited some more there were only 5 people in front of me none of which were that ill but it took until after midnight before I got called back. From there every little step took hours. They had already had my blood work back so they knew something was going on and said I needed and ultrasound and maybe a CT. So the nurse brings me this drink I have to drink for the ultrasound and I start drinking it and ask him what was in it and he tells me apple juice. I explained that apple juice has too much sugar and that I can't have it. So it took about another hour before he came back with it mixed with just water. This was about 2:30 am so I drank it and then had to wait for it to do it's work. Finally they take me to ultrasound and there is something wrong with my colon and gallbladder and they want to now do the CT. It took them until 7:30 am to get me to CT and my gallbladder was filled with stones and sludge. They didn't do any other tests for my colon. I was admited to the hospital to have it removed and ended up leaving without it taken out because of scheduling. I decided I just wanted to go home and rest. I was feeling much better at this time. We scheduled my surgery for the next week on Thursday. For the next week I couldn't eat anything without feel pain so I just drank my protein shakes.

As of this morning I was down a total of 58 lbs. My starting weight was 243 and I am at 185. I can see the weight loss everywhere except the one place I wish I could see gone.
Right now I can wear a size 14 pants and an large or xlarge shirt just depends on the length of the shirt. I am finding that they don't make shirst long enough for my likings in the Misses section or it's just so different shopping in that section that I'm lost.
