Hi everyone.. Thanks so much to everyone that has supplied me with love and support over my new adventure. Tomorrow will be a week out. I'm still alittle sore, I had some major muscle spasms in my upper abdomin, but I got through that ok.. I'm feeling better ever day.. In fact yesterday, I went out for a ride and a visit with my DH and didn't even come home and take a nap.. If it wasn't for those spasms I would be in great shape. My drain has pretty much stopped draining now. It's getting more painful now, and I'm not liking the way it looks, so I'm getting very anxious about getting it out. Hoping for tomorrow... The office is closed today because of the holiday.. Again, thanks for all your support. Steph

I have not spoken to Steph in person again but she did send me an email. She has been having some pain that is causing her some problems, the doctor said it is probably muscle spasms and her drain is getting a little sore. She can't wait to get that thing out. She was getting tired and she was starting to hurt again so she was going to lie down. Hopefully I will get to talk to her tomorrow.

I talked with Steph today and she is doing well. The surgery went good and she is in the same room that I was in when I had my surgery. They took her naso-gastric tube out this morning and she said that was pretty bad. It caused her to have a coughing fit. She has been up and walking also. She had a little trouble when she took a pain pill and they were not diluting her juice. She is suppose to go home Thursday evening. I will be talking to her on Friday after she goes home. She sounded pretty good and is glad it is all over.

Congratulations Steph! I knew that your day would come! You are such a great person and I really appreciate everything you did for me when I had my surgery. Being your angel is the least I can do. I will be praying that you have a quick and easy recovery. God Bless!!!!
