William Overcash

"My first impression of Dr. Overcash was that he knew what he was talking about and was experienced. I still think the same things, but being is his office is like watching a cattle herd. His office staff is wonderful though (especially Patrice). They work hard with your insurance company to get the surgery paid for and they're super nice. One thing you should know is that Dr. Overcash is always super busy and if you have questions for him you should think of them ahead of time and/or write them down and ask him otherwise you may forget and then that's it - you have to make him sit down for a minute and sit with you. There is also no aftercare program - just regular post-op visits, but he does emphasize the importance of support and encouragement before and after surgery. And he is pretty thorough with the risks before, during and after surgery - and making sure you understand them. Overall on a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being the worst and 10 the best I'd give him a 7. He loses points for not having the best bedside manners and making me feel rushed all of the time."

"If you are lucky enough to get good techs and nurses you will have a good experience. You have to walk immediately after surgery and it was good to have them supporting you as you walked around."
