Newly back on this site re revision surgery scheduled

I was on this site a number of years ago when I got a lap band. I did great with it but it prolapsed and was removed . Then had revision to sleeve which did nothing for my diabetes and minimally helped with weight. Now diabetes has progressed and I am scheduled for revision to bypass.

Can anyone tell me about their surgical experience, recovery, pain, so I know what to expect this time around? 

I would greatly appreciate it.
