Hey everybody just a lil update about me today was my 3 month post op visit it was good to have everybody say u look so good. i felt great i'm 244lbs from 283.5 i'm so elated its happening i can't wait to see myself at 6 months its starting well everybody until next time stay blessed and happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all how are u doing? its been a minute since i've posted i'm so sorry about that just a lil update about me i weighed myself this morning i am proud to say i lost 37lbs which maybe a lil slow but very exciting to me i weigh 246.5 yippee i was elated i eat properly , i drink my 64ozs of water a day, i take flintstones complete multis, & 2 chewable calciums rite aid brand of viactiv carmel flavor it taste good to me. Anyway i came back to work on May 21, 2007 my co workers gave me a card with money in it so i was so happy. Anyway i have to go to the barix clinic on thursday for my 3 month checkup i already did my labs so i will post on thursday to let u all know how all went and by that time i probably would've lost another 3 lbs just for all my friends who read this i will give u a sample of what i eat
Breakfast
2 oz egg beaters
1 oz skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 apple
Snack
6 oz yogurt
1/2 apple
Lunch
3 oz Ground Turkey
salad
Snack
8 oz Skim milk
Dinner
3 oz Ground turkey
1/2 cup string beans
So thats pretty much what've been eating i also get up 5:30 am in the morning to do 45 minutes on my treadmill it is so important to all of my fellow oh members to walk or do some form of exercise start at ur own pace!!! Until next time stay blessed and happy

1 Month, 2 Days Post Op!!!

Hey everybody wats up? well i'm 1 month post op excited, elated i weighed myself today and i am approximately 260.75lbs hooray i'm getting there i have lost a total of 27.75lbs its coming off slowly but surely i trying to get all my protein in so wish me luck. i would have posted on my anniversary but i was in philadelphia with my boo so i will keep everyone posted i go for my 6 week checkup on 5-10-07 so wish me luck its happening!!!!! Hooray~~~~~~

Hey OH , well to keep everyone up to date i got my tube taken out today lost an additional 2lbs from friday now i'm 262.9 i'm so elated and excited. Well until next time i will post again later

2 Weeks Post-OP!!!!!!!

Hey everybody just to give u all an update about me, i had my 2 week post-op visit today i was elated i have lost 19lbs since surgery but from pat's i have lost a total of 24lbs yeah i'm so excited its starting, i just have to get in my protein, and keep up the good work its not easy because i want to eat food not protein shakes, but i know it will pay off in the end. I start pureed foods on monday so i will be very happy about that. I talked with Dr. Marymor he didn't take out my tube but next Wednesday he will i told him he knows best hes the doctor. But overall everything is going well i can't complain this is the best thing i've done for myself. Well until next time stay sweet and blessed.

Hey everybody whats going on its me yeah i'm doing okay a lil pain not as bad as last week.still no complications praising & thaking god for that one.Thank u jesus. anyway just trying to get everything in such as protein which is very important and water to stay hydrated. so i will keep u all posted my 2 week post-op appointment with dr. marymor is 4-13-07 so i will tell u all how much i weigh yeah. also i have to say i happy to be on the losing side of things. stay blessed

Hey everybody just to give u some updates about me, i'm doing okay i'm still in some pain a lot of gas pain but the surgery went well. I am blessed to not have any complications thus far, which is above all a true blessing. Well i arrived at Barix Clinic at 5:50am on 3-26-07 was nervous but i was saw by a nurse she weighed me to my surprise i was 283.5lbs thank u jesus and filled out paper work, then i had to pee in a cup, then i waited with another lady that was getting the surgery to. we pretty much talked and got to know one another she was cool. then it was time to go back to the back room to get dressed into my hospital gown and everything, it was so cold back there they gave me a blanket, everyone was so nice i was like wow i love the barixs clinic. anyway i talked with Dr. Marymor he went over somethings with me next thing i know they put iv's in me i started feeling woosey, the rolled me into the operating room, gave me anesthia and i was out woke up in pain my doctor told me he had taken out my gallbladder, i had other adhesions from my abortion surgery so scraped that scar tissue, and did my gastric bypass surgery i'm still in pain the hardest thing for me is doing the spirometer i hate that because every 5 minutes the nurses from respiratory came in my room and was like its time for u to blow i was like give me a break. but u know how that go my nurse was like sip, walk, and breathe three major things i have to do so i'm going to do them i will keep u all posted stay sweet until next time.

Tomorrow is my new beginning!!!

Hey everyone on OH, The day is approaching tomorrow is my big day i'm rather nervous, anxious, full of tears because this is something i want so bad i can taste it. i'm nervous because i haven't losed the 10lbs i was suppose to lose and i hope they don't postpone my surgery, i will be so devastated so i pray that everything goes as follows pray for me i will keep u posted when i come home everybody please keep me in ur prayers i have the faith in god he won't give me more than i can bare god is a beautiful god so everyone see u on the "LOSERS BENCH" SO EVERYONE BE BLESSED STAY SWEET. MAY GOD KEEP & COVER US WITH HIS BLOOD. See u later

Hey everyone the countdown to surgery is 5 days away well i went to my gynecologist this morning i am fine. He had to right me a clearance letter for dr. marymor so that everything runs smoothly. so i called linda from the barix clinic today and she said that everything is fine just work on losing the 10lbs i gained so as of today i weigh 285.5 so pray for me i will try to lose another 7lbs yeah so i will keep u all posted god bless u all!!!
