Hi Phil! I've been keeping up with you on Dr. Todd's board - so glad you are doing ok! I remember being so glad to get out of the hospital - I wasn't in the ICU like you but I was sure tired of all the interruptions in sleep...but it was for our good. Good luck and keep up the good work! Melinda

Surgery was 27 Feb. All went well, Home recouperating now. Need sleep. severely deprived in hospital. Was in ICU for 3 days then on the ambulatory care unit. Couldn't have asked for better service. Now the work really begins....Thanks to everyone for all your support and best wishes. Phil P.

Phil, you will be in the best of hands tomorrow. I know, Dr Todd and ABC performed my surgery over three years ago. I have never had any regrets. It is normal to feel a little nervous with any surgery, but you are taking the next step in a healthier, happier you. I see you on the message board alot; continue to use that in the coming months, it helps! See you on the losing side!

Phil, Have the Greatest Ever on Monday!! It’s good to see more guys out here on AMOS. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. If you aren’t a regular visitor already, drop by the "Men's Message Board" to see how other Guys are doing with their surgeries. A lot of info and advice specifically tailored to the Guys. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. May you have a famously successful surgery and a record-breaking recovery! Be nice to the nurses, Enjoy the drugs when you can, and most importantly, hurry home and start walking away from those pounds and into a new Life! Best Wishes-

May the Lord plant a hedge of angels around you and give you an uneventful surgery. I am praying for you. “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; Surely, I will heal you.” (2 Kings 20:5)
