My dad wanted me write ya'll and let you know how he is doing. His surgery only took two hours. He went to recovery for about an hour and a half. He is now in ICU only because of his age and that he has high blood pressure and diabetes. They just want to keep a close watch on him for the first 24 hours. His doctor said that the operation went perfectly. They were able to scope the surgery instead of opening him up. He's in quite abit of pain, but they are giving him alot of morphine. Sometime today he should be in a private room. Will keep you posted. Thank you for your thoughts and prayer. Please forward this along. Mark
