Well, it is almost 2 years now and I have finally not only reached my surgeons goal weight, but one pound lower. I started this journey at 302lbs and now weigh 149lbs. That is 153lbs lost.....that is a whole overweight person! Now I just hope I can tone up and reshape my body parts to where they are supposed to me lol.....Now my goal is strength and I can't wait to achieve it!!!

I am now down 134lbs...so I am now 169. 19 more lbs to go until I hit my surgeons goal which seems so difficult now,  but he won't let me have a tummy tuck until I do and I really want one, lol.....

Well, today is 11 months out. I have lost 124lbs so far. I started this journey at 302lbs and now weigh 178lbs. I have gone from a BMI of 50 to 29.6. I have gone from Obese to Overweight. I would have never been here without this surgery and I would recommend it to anyone. Now I just have to get to 150, lol....

Well, I went to my surgeon yesterday for my weigh in and I am down 95lbs!!! I have 56 more lbs to go until I reach the surgeon's goal for me. It is amazing to think that 7 months ago I weighed nearly 100 more lbs than I do today! How is everyone else doing?

It was four months on Jan. 5th and I am down 67lbs so far. I just wanted to share that. I still don't feel any thinner though.....

Well, it has been a little over 2 months and I am down 40lbs!!!! I am still having a hard time getting excited over my losses so far because I don't really see a difference in myself. I will be a lot more excited when that one year anniversary comes around and I am a brand new person:) well on the outside,anyway. I haven't found a good way to supplement protein yet, but I have been trying to do everything I need to. I would take any tips or advice from anyone:)

Okay, so far I have lost 26lbs. I don't go back to the surgeons office until November, then I will be cleared for exercise. I can't wait for that. I actually want to go to the gym, lol. 26lbs the first month I think is great! I just hope I am consistent in this kind of weight loss. I did something really stupid last night and paid for it. My family got chinese food last night so I ordered shrimp w/mushrooms. I had four pieces of shrimp and a couple of mushrooms. This was fine. I am good with shrimp and vegetables. But, my brain led me to take a bite of my man's egg roll and I will never ever do that again. That was a horrible feeling. I guess I had to experience it sometime. I know I shouldn't have had that bite and I paid for it. Needless to say, I don't think I will be eating any food made at a chinese restaurant again in my life, lol. It is amazing how your body knows what you ate, isn't it?

Okay, first I have to say oh my god was that the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my life. I was actually crying wishing I could go back and not go through with it. I don't think anyone ever really stresses enough how painful it is. I had my drain removed today, thank goodness..so I am a little more mobile. I lost 14lbs at my first weighin  today, so that was one plus so far:) I am now on stage 2 liquids, so that is another plus...no more yucky clear liquids. I just can't wait until a month from now when I am back to regular food and out of pain.

I am so scared and nervous about surgery. As long I get through that part of it than I will be okay. I am excited also because I know this will be a start to whole new chapter of my life. I just can't help but think if something bad happens that I left my family for a choice that I made....it is soo hard.....everyone wish me luck tommorrow:)

Thursday is my last visit with my surgeon before my surgery next Friday. I am excited and nervous at the same time!...Anyone else having surgery  the weekend of the September 5th?
