I have been thinking about doing weight loss surgery for a long time. I am doing it self pay....and just really did not want to spend the money. Started off thinking that LapBand was the way for me to go. Then was advised to do the RNY. So I put that advise in my brain....let it sit there....then went on vacation and that totally made me make up my mind to have the surgery. On vacation...I was miserable! Just walking around, made me so tired. Then we went to this awesome outlet mall...every great brand name that you can imagine. I could not find one thing that would fit. It was like somebody turned on the light switch....soon as I got back home, the first phone call I made was to the Dr's office....making my appointment. Now I have my surgery scheduled....I am nervous and sooo excited. I know that this is the best decision...I am ready to look good and feel good.

Had the RNY on 08/14/07 and am finally getting used to my new life. I wish I would have done this a long time ago... The only thing that I need now is to get all of my energy back...but things are getting better everyday!
