I had my one yr appt with Dr. Bour  I had only lost 3 more pounds...but a usual they were pleased overall!  I just had wanted to be 200 lbs or under but that appt., but I am so close I can feel it!!

I am sooooo excited I get to see Angela and Cathy my surgery sisters tonight, we are meeting up for the first time in a long time!! 

I am so thankful for the chance to have had this surgery, after losing 170 lbs.  and seeing what life has to offer.  It is a blessing to healthier and happy...

Tomorrow is Cathy, Angela and I 6 mnth anniversary...That is amazing, it seems like yesterday!  

Everything has totally changed,  why didn't I do this sooner? From a size 26 to a 20...

I have my 6 mnth fu with Dr. B today...I can't wait to see the repsonse!  I will return later and record my experience.      Deidre

This has been such a great journey...I wished that I had done this years ago!

It is by no means been a breeze, but I feel great!  (when I am not nauseous!!)  There are so many things that are easier.  Joel actually pulled me up out of the floor the other day and it was easy on both of us...I wouldn't ever do that before for fear of him throwing out his back!!

I just pray that the journey is just beginning...

Well everything went well...I have lost 80 lbs.  Dr. Bour was awesome, of course, just saying that it may be a little slower with the PCOS stuff! I hate it, I hate it, I hate it...but it will improve as the weight comes off.  

I was kinda in shock, because I asked about a goal weight and he mentioned 175 lbs...  that seems big to me but he assures me that with my height it will be good...(I was thinking more along the lines of 130 lbs...)

I am just blessed to have Dr. Bour and all my WLS friends...      Deidre

I have my 3 month fu appt with Dr. Bour today...I am NERVOUS!!  Have I lost enough weight? I hope it is enough, I feel like my PCOS stuff is slowing me down. I am soooooooo frustrated with all that   !!

   I will update tomorrow...say some prayers for me!!! 

   Joel just called me and lost 6 lbs since last Tuesday...he now weighs 244!  That seems like an awful lot!!  

Do you know how long it has been since I have been under 300 lbs?  I don't even remember...this is just tripping me out!! 

What a journey...

65 lbs down and feeling great!!  

I got sick for the first time 3 days ago...I just ate too much!!! I wasn't paying attention at ALL-I don't ever want to do that again!!    

I am so excited!! I went to see Michelle (the nutritionist) today and I have now lost 62 lbs!!  It all just seems soooo surreal.  I also get to start solids phase 2 now!!  I can't wait to have a salad...   

Joel has now lost 190 lbs...  MEN!  They are so blessed to lose so quickly!! 

We are so excited about moving into our apartment, they have a fitness center practically in our back yard...that is gonna be GREAT!  

I miss Angela and Cathy, I hope we can get together soon!  I am sure that I wan't recognize them hardly after not seeing them for 2 weeks...

I have lost 51 lbs. !   Sunday I wore a size 22 jeans...somebody pinch me!!
