Well I started this WLS journey back in October of 2007 by attending seminar held at Abington Hospital in Abington PA which is a few minutes ride from Philadelphia. After attending the seminar and seeing just how many folks were in the same boat or Bigger boat LOL then me help to motivate me even more.
OK so I dont have the all the dates with me so I am going to have to guess ti mate this so here is my time line
October seminar
October visit to the Abington Weight loss Center and the first time I met Dr. Bonanni.
November lots of blood work (no suprise),
November Chest Xrays, and Ultra sound
Decamber Psch eval that wasnt to bad because I allready know im crasy
December Endascope not sure of the technical name but they put you to sleep in look around in your stomach to see everything is OK down there (I Passed)
January was absolutely the worse I had to do a sleep study how do they expect you to sleep with all of that stuff hooked uo to your head and in a bed that was 2 sizes to small. My son would have had a hard time falling a sleep in that bed of course I have a sleeping problem and it was over as soon as I got home and went straight to sleep.
January I had to see a heart Doc today again no suprise I am heathy as a horse just need to lose some weight
Febuary 08-2008 Pulminary doc today he was a nicie guy he told me that I needed to get fitted for C PAP mask for my sleep Apnea. Other than that he cleared me for WLS. YEEEEAAAHHH.
Ok I received a phone call from the Abington WLS Center I have been approved and scheduled for my surgery March 18,2008 is the beginning of the rest of my new life Thank You Jesus.
February 13, 2008 and the waiting is already getting the best of me how will I make it?
Ok nothing new has happend over the past couple of days I am scheduled for my last pre op visit with Dr. B on 03-06-08 I will updat after that.
OK its 03-07-08 I went to my last visit prior to WLS with Dr. B I found out that I gained 20 lbs since I started this journey. Dr. B was going to post pone my date because of the weight gain. I am so pissed at myself. I have been placed on a liquid diet and Imust lose ten pounds in 10 days. I will do it

03-27-08 9 days post op I made it and let me tell you what an experience, all I can say is make sure this is what you truly want. Enough with the doom and gloom I made it and todate I am at DRUM ROLL PLEASE 310 IBS LOSS. I plan posting some pics ASAP stay tuned the journey continues
