Hello All:) My name is Kimberly. I am a 30 year old single female that is trying to figure out this board and the forums. I am from Erie, PA, although I am having my surgery done in Pgh at Magees by Dr Carol McCloskey on January 10th, 2011. I am 5'10", started at 341 and am down to 315. The support group in my area is only for those that have gone to the surgeons in Erie, and with it being winter, Pgh is quite a drive by myself to go down to the support group. I am a nurse.
I am looking for online friends as well as real time friends.
I have the following health problems that hopefully will be helped with me losing weight:
-Enlarged left ventricle
-Dilated right and left atriums
-Fatty liver
-Acute and chronic back pain (4 bulged discs, stenosis, arthritis, and a torn disc)
-High blood pressure
-Pre-diabetic
-Lower extremity edema
I am looking forward to doing the following things after surgery when I'm fit and healthier weight:
-White water rafting
-Canoeing
-Camping
-Rappelling
-Being able to fit on roller coasters again
-Having energy to do whatever I want to do
-Fit into smaller clothes and not avoid the camera
Misc. facts about me:
-I have one 10 year old cat.
-I love bigger dogs.
-I am a country girl at heart.
-I love to camp.
-I am adventurous.
-I like to read.
