I slept in the hospital the week she was there...then slept two more weeks on her floor so I could be there whenever she needed help. With WLS, I was able to drive 13 hours home a week into post op...I will tell you now, mom is still on a walker, her leg won't bend, and it looks like it will be a YEAR for recovery.
Dylan (son) started his Junior year in High School, I got back on track with my eating. I have discovered some wonderful items from bariatriceating.com. The shakes are all a thousand times better than even the "ON" everyone loves...and her protein bars are the BOMB!
I am talking to a new man...but we all know what a tyrant I can be, so I won't go into THAT until I decide if I like him more than I should...lol

Wake Up: 1/2 C Coffee ((not feeling well today)))
Breakfast: Made yogurt, w/ protein & banana, but could only eat about 3 bites and felt really bad))))
40 Oz. Iced Tea w/ Sweetener
Lunch: Sloppy Joe Meat w/ lettuce, a bit of sour creme....ate about 8 bites and felt really badly
S: 1"x2" Chunk of 9 grain bread and stick of cheese
40 Oz Iced Tea
D: Pay Day Pro Protein Bar
