I went to my consultation on May 10, 2002. He was great. He was very caring and kind. He examined me and made sure I understood the pro's and con's of Restrictive gastric bypass. He advised me of his credentials and 25 years of experience. His staff was pleasant. Gene is the insurance contact person in his office she was very helpful and extremely patient. She needs patience at this stage of the game because I am very anxious

May 16, 2002 I went for my abdominal ultra sound and additional blood work today. All went well and the process is moving rather quickly. I can't wait until I see Dr. Sabback on May 31, 2002.

May 14, 2002 Dr. Sabback moves fast. I told him I was anxious and he made sure I had an appointment with the pulmonist today. Which is the next business day of my initial consultation. Dr. Yalla is the Pulmonist. He is great as well. He was very understanding and personable. The only thing I did not like was the pain when he drew blood from an artery. This was necessary for the test he was performing. Dr. Yalla talked the entire time making me feel comfortable. My daughter went with me to this visit because I live about 1 1/2 hour away from Charleston where these doctor's are located. He let her stay with me the entire time and tried to show her the importance of knowing how to check your blood pressure. I felt very comfortable with D.r Yalla.
