Anyone have any tips on taking Omneprazole
Good Morning! I am two weeks post op and everything is going well....except taking my omneprazole. So weird I have never had a gag reflex but when i break this baby open and take it...it is all I can do to keep it in. I have tried sugar free jello, chocolate pudding, and vanilla pudding with no success. About 1 second after I take it I get the gag reflex. Is there something else I can ask my doc for or a better way to take it? Thanks All
I took liquid prilosec immediately post-op. I also had no issues swallowing small pills. So asking your doc about those things is a good idea!

I believe it's a med that you're not supposed to open the capsule anyway. Check with your pharmacist. But are you not able to just swallow it?
