Anyone BIPOLAR and have WLS?

Hi! This is my first post.  I was wondering if anyone out there is BIPOLAR or has ANXIETY issues.  I have started my journey by selecting a surgeon and will meet with him Thursday.  I am most worried about being bipolar and having the sleeve.  How it will effect my moods and medications.  Please comment and THANKS for your input!!

I have Bipolar with severe paranoia, so far it has not effected me and i have less swings than i did previously.

I was just reading through your post. I have the surgery in 2012 and last December found out I was Bipolar and had severe anxiety. I've had trouble finding the right combinations of drugs so I have gained about 25 pounds back. I'm currently working with my Dr to find the right combo and get back on track.

were your mood swings an issue?  I'm afraid of a major depression.
