Self pay

So, I was denied by insurance and went through the appeals process and was still denied. I'm now thinking about self pay. For those of you who have done this, what surgeon did you use and where were they located? what was the cost?

I live in NC.  i went to mexico with acompany named beliteweight and for the plane tickets for 2 and surgery it was less then 7500.00 it was a good surgery and I would do it all over. I hope this helps

In harrisburg, pa I paid 9800.00

I was denied as well. I was sleeved last month by Ponce De Leon, Tijuana. The cost was $5200: included 2 night at hospital and one night at hotel. You can book through Trish at WLS for Better Life. Great experience all around.

Ahh... Wow. I am self pay, in Washington State. It is $18,500 and covers all appointments post op for a year and lifetime of support groups.
