I am 8 months out and 75 lbs. down.  My journey has been slow compared to others, but I have not experienced many plateaus.  In fact, the plateaus have been very short-lived, with no fluctuating yo-yo weight gain/loss.  Was feeling somewhat discouraged that some have reached goal by 8 and 9 months, but looking back at these photos today jolted me back to reality.  LOL

Great job!!

I think it is hard not to compare ourselves to others, but really it doesn't do any good.  You have done amazing & you look great :)

Pictures will always do that.  You look beautiful (before and after) Congrats on the loss, 75 lbs is amazing!!!  I lost and gained the same 5 lbs for 3 years.  (No WLS) Talk about frustrating!!  I would be thrilled if I lost almost 10 lbs a month!

You look amazing!  Both photos are lovely,  but you look about 10 years younger in the second photo!  And I second the person that said you have fantastic skin.  Congrats on your loss!

Hi there!

You are looking fabulous! It doesn't seem that long ago that you were just starting the process and new to the boards; now you are an example to new folks. Comparing is hard to avoid but it is really not useful. Remember there is no prize for losing the fastest, the prize is getting and staying as healthy as  possible. (Looking great  can be a wonderful bonus)

all the best, Katy

consult weight 241 (had not been accurately weighed for over 10 years, my medical records just said "wheelchair") high weight was probably closer to 260.

You look fantastic! Beautiful, radiating health and happiness, and like you've somehow managed to get 15 years younger too! Congrats!
