One Month Out.

One month out as of today.  -38 pounds.  It amazes me how fast the weight is dropping off.  I am not the least bit sorry that I had the sleeve.  I know that the weight loss will slow down over time but I'm liking it so far!.

couple of questions:  Dr. Jack says try to get 1000 to 1100 calories a day.  I'm having a hard time getting those in.  For somebody who could sit down and eat a whole large pizza by himself that is WEIRD!.  Right now I'm only getting in about 800 to 900 calories.  Any suggestions to make it easier to get my calories in?

second,  I have spasms when I eat my first meal of the day.  I have levsen to help with that but I still have spasms.  Did any of the rest of you have them and how long did  it take for them to abate?

800 to 900 is close enough, i wouldnt worry about the calories at all.

no clue or advice about the spasms.  sounds like something that will go away with time, just part of postop healing perhaps

I agree with Lisa, I would just make sure your getting your protein in. 90 grams a day is best.

WOW you are doing great.  Make sure you are getting your protein and fluids.  You will be getting enough calories soon.
