Eating to few calories?

I belong to my fitness pal and every day it comes up telling me I am eating to few calories. I am following my doctors plan so I believe I am good to go. What I am wondering is does anyone here have an opinion on the whole slower weight loss because of to few calories? Has anyone talked to their doctors about that? My GP tells me to eat more but my bariatric doctor is the the diet I am going with.

Dr. Sauceda future patient  - body will be by Sauceda!

Same here.  MFP's programming tells me I should be eating about twice as many calories as I'm eating.  My surgeon's people tell me I should be eating no more than 800 calories.  I rarely exceed 650 calories.  I'm sticking with what my surgeon's people are telling me.

On MFP you need to go to custom settings and put in your 600 calories etc... Then it will stop telling you to eat more

I did that, but that little blurb at the bottom is still telling me I'm eating too few calories because that's how they've programmed the diary, I guess.  :)

Exactly what the previous poster said. MFP is set up for normal folks, not bariatric patients...that line is going to pop up every time. I have my calories set at 800 even though I stay around 600 (I tried to lower it as well) but I still get the warning. I think the system is smart enough to realize that it is just too few calories for a "normal" individual.

Stick with your surgeon; ignore your GP and MFP.

Honestly, most GPs are incredibly ignorant about WLS surgery and their subsequent nutrional plans.
