I set out to get some walking in today. My best so far had been about a mile. I have talked to a few of you on here about increasing my walking. One of my goals is to walk a 5k by the spring.
Today got to about 38 degrees. I was planning on going to the gym. But when I got outside I said it's not that cold. Got my sweatshirt on and said, I'm just gonna go explore my country style neighborhood.
I walked 2miles!!!! I was so pumped!
I came home and had lunch called a friend and we hit a few malls to shop...
I got home and looked at my FitBit and Holy smokes it said 12,083 steps
5.12 miles
For some of you it may be a cake walk, but for me it made me feel good all over.
When I was 500lbs walking around a grocery store was a challenge.
