Just wait - you stray on plan and it will be even lower.   Mine was 5.9 at my 3 month, and 5.0 at my 6 month!

This is excites me!!  I am Type 2, insulin dependent and I go for my last pre-op appointment next Wednesday and then hopefully insurance approval.

I am so excited to get sleeved and get this diabetes under control!!  Thanks for sharing!

Yah I'm not even due for my diabetic labs until November.. but I got lucky today, and a nice surprise with this :)

I work for an endocrine office, and we needed to calibrate the machines.. so we ran my a1c on 4 different machines haha. I jumped to volunteer for that job! haha

I tell ya though.. working in endocrinology and being threatened with insulin was a huge eye opener for me to have this surgery. It honestly was a hmm.. do I want to die in my 60's or my 80's?

That is fabulous!  Great work!

Honestly I think the health victories, for me, have meant waaay more than the scale victories.  Obviously, I LOVE being thinner.  But what gives me a deep sense of satisfaction is (for example) knowing I can do a 10k and keep my heart in a nice aerobic range the whole time.

Those are the things that will sustain you when the number on the scale is just frustrating.
