Can gas make you hurl? (A bit graphic)

I'm two weeks out (started Week 3 diet yesterday) and after a particularly busy day today (lots of walking at work), I developed some pretty significant indigestion. I ate a few snacks, but when I tried to eat soup for dinner, I knew almost instantly that it wasn't going to stay down! Strangely, I never felt full, just gassy. I wound up "spitting up" after a few bites...no food came up, just spittle. Can gas make you do that? Puke? I felt better afterward, but I'm a little gunshy about trying any more food for now.

Sounds like you had the slimeys - maybe you ate a little too fast or too big a bites.

Try taking things more slowly and taking much smaller bites.

I know sometimes, even with as far out as I am, if I eat or drink too quickly, I get a quick nauseous feeling.  Usually at this point whatever I ate or drank doesnt come back up, but until I get a good burp out, the nauseous feeling remains.

So maybe gas, maybe slimmies, either way, I think for a lot of us, it's a sign to slow down a bit :)  It's SO hard to slow down!

Thanks y'all. I think you're right...sounds like I had a textbook case of the slimeys. I took it slower and went back to the basics last night (Unjury chicken broth). Problem solved.
