2 week count down begins today!

2 week pre-op diet starts today for my May 22nd VSG!    I got thru my 1st surgery pretty well except for the cold I brought home from the hospital.  Not a good thing to be coughing and sneezing when you have a 3 in*****ision on your abdomen.   The VSG shouldn't be as invasive - just a couple more "poke" holes in my abdomen to go along with the 6 - 7 I already have.   I'm wondering if the surgeon used the original incision for the medical device, or if I will have 3" railroad tracks on my left side under my ribcage?   will be interesting to see when the surgi-strips come off.

I am May 22nd also.  I just started my liquid diet today and it has finally become reality that this is happening.  Im hungary and misersable.  You sound so positive about this.  I am nervous and driving myself crazy.  I have never had surgery before and I know what everyone else is saying but I really dont know what to expect.
