just over one month to go!!!

HI! im 19 years old and i am having gastric bypass on June 15th 2010!!!!! 
I was expecting insurance to take longer to approve but it only took one week!! i am currently at 380, hoping to be at 365 by my surgery date. i would love to talk to anyone who is my age who has either had the surgery already, or is thinking about having it.

 Hello!  I am having VSG on May 24th.  I am so excited!  Congratulations on getting your surgery date.  I am only 18 and I am kind of nervous about having such a drastic surgery at such a young age.  What are your thoughts?

 my thoughts are that i NEED this surgery and if i have the oppourtunity to have it when i'm still a teenager, than so be it. i have the rest of my life to do what i never did in high school, hAVE FUN!
