Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! I had a good day meeting people over zoom yesterday and today is a lot more of the same. I think I have 7 meetings today and just a few little breaks in between. I also have a lot of cookie stuff to do today before and after work.

The two things I missed most while I was in school (besides a paycheck) were the ability to make doctor's appointments, and the ability to travel. Well, I have gotten two paychecks, I have a few medical appointments lined up for May, and last night I planned some travel with a friend for September! Yay! I am back, baby!

QOTD: Did you hear any good April Fools jokes this year? I was lucky enough to upload one pic but it won't let me do two, so I can't share the picture........argh.......but the National Mall tweeted that they often get questions about why there is a color difference in the stones along the Washington Monument, and they said it was because during WWII they used to lower the monument to allow fighter planes to fly over without obstruction. Ha! It took me two reads to make sure I had that one right.

Happy Tuesday!

10 hours of meetings today, plus my workout, some packing for business travel and that?s about all on the agenda today.

qotd - my sister gave me a plant that?s been dormant for two years but just started to grow again this winter, I found a blooming version of it at the store and bought it and sent her a picture of it in glorious bloom and she thought it had grown a bunch of blooms since Saturday, lol.

accountability - I skipped lunch, swapped my dinner for some string cheese and a glass of milk and finally finished the pistachio cookie.

Coffee plus half and half x3

sausage links and English muffin

turkey and cheese slider

leftover ham

have a terrific Tuesday!

Good morning OH fam!

Glad the new job seems to be going so well, QJB! All the yay.

QOTD- Thankfully, no. They rank up there with practical jokes and other such. Not a fan of laughing at the expense of others.

Today is a rest day, maybe. I want to be like Jen where rest day is still like...active recovery! I have more OTF classes Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday before making a decision. And I need to figure out how to take the virtual classes by tomorrow. Haha. I'm doing both in person 50 and virtual yoga 25. It's nice to be active, even if my thighs are not happy. They'll get used to it again.

Oh, MRI came back normal from my neurology follow up. She mentioned Guillain-Barre during the initial visit and I did test for rheumatoid factors. Guess I'm still a big, floating question mark.

Food. Yogurt, toast with shredded chicken or turkey. Chicken breast with spicy BBQ sauce, more yogurt with granola, tuna salad with EVOO. Strawberries, blueberries, roasted asparagus.

I'm still lurking. :) cheers, everyone!

Glad to see you. You mentioned recently a promotion. Did that ever come to fruition?

Hi! Good to see you...sounds like you're going through some things. Hope you're okay.

I'm applying for jobs strategically but haven't landed anything as yet. A day at a time. Fortunately, still love the work I do. Just don't want to lose my mind while doing it. :)

Good mornin y'all.

My new case manager is really nice. He was very easy to talk to so I am relieved. My upper body is hurting a lot today and I'm working on about 3 or 4 hours of sleep if even that. I'm not in the greatest mood but better than yesterday. Just about everything hit me the wrong way. I was/am tired of pain and it got to me.

Not much planned today. A short trip to Walmart for a few things. We got some glorious rain overnight and it'll be a *****illy today. I'm freezing my butt off so I may crawl back into bed.

today is Rachel's 13th birthday. My oh my how time has flies.

QOTD: no not really....they are not my favorite as a lot of folks get mean with them.

totally unplanned for food today. I may buy a small ham today. We'll see.

a meme, the many faces of lamb cakes. a pair of earrings I made for my nieces Birthday.

Good morning! I'm laying in bed - I decided I need a rest day so I'm happily reading the internet.
My neighbor pranked me and said she was selling her house and moving and I believed her! But alas it was a joke. I think the most shocking part of April 1st was that Connections was emojis and not words! But I solved it perfectly woohoo.

We are on day 2 of 3 days of rain. But, a friend and her family are coming this weekend for a week and the weather improves for them, so I'm happy!

Eats today:

Hard boiled eggs, mini chicken and cilantro wontons in chicken broth, Tilapia tacos. I'm in a bit of a cooking rut. I have some impossible ground meat but no snow peas or veggies to make a stir fry so perhaps those will become tacos tomorrow!

Have a most wonderful day!
