Improvement Needed in My Eating Plan
I'll be 5 years out in July and have maintained my 70 lb. weight loss for most of that time. I did regain about 7 lbs. but took that off. I really need to lose another 20-25 lbs. Most every day I get at least 60 grams of protein; however, I have been eating way too many carbs. My husband is very supportive of me, but I tend to cook for him then I eat whatever I fix for him. He doesn't have a weight problem so he can eat whatever he wants.
I have realized I need to eat like a bariatric patient, focusing on protein and lay off the bad carbs. All this week I have been eating the bariatric way and feel much better. I really don't need those 100 calorie packs.
I retired 8 months ago and love my new life. Time to get on track with my eating and make the most of my procedure.

I had surgery 2 months after you. Do you track your food? That helps me when I worry I am feeling out of control or need to lose. I also weight my food to make sure I know what a serving actually looks like. Sometimes I track at the beginning of the day and then do not "allow" myself to eat anything else.
You can do this!!
