Goodbye Boobs and Belly

Had to share my news. I had my rny in 2010. I have lost over 150 pounds, but the girls have hung on for dear life. I lost a whole lot in the bra band size, but no cup size. Also alot of tummy skin. Well after a couple of months of my plastic surgeon and pcp going back and forth with insurance, I got the call a little bit ago that I am approved for the panniculectomy and breast reduction! Haven't been so excited since I got approved for my rny. I will be having surgery September 20th or 21st. Will know later today.

UPDATE! MY SURGERY IS THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST AT 8:00 AM! I WENT FOR PRE-OP ON MONDAY. I AM SO EXCITED. IT SEEMS UNREAL! BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS. THANKS FOR ALL THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND KINDNESS. THIS IS ANOTHER PART OF THIS JOURNEY. GOOD LUCK TO ALL. WILL UPDATE AFTER SURGERY.

WOOT!!! Go for it!!!! I had my insurance paid panniculectomy in September of 2008 it was AWESOME getting rid of the apron of skin ... I am soooooooooooooo happy for you and excited too!!! Your date is less than a month from now ... I will be thinking about you .... Wishing you continued success on this awesome journey for life!
