My typical day now involves eating a lot more often than I ever did as a pre-op. Go figure.
8am: GNC Total Lean RTD protein shake
9am: Vitamins & Yogurt (Greek on workout days, light yogurt on non-workout days)
10am: Fruit on workout days (for the carbs)
12n: Balance Bar protein bar on workout days, a serving of cheese cubes on non-workout days
1pm: Lunch is usually 2-4oz of protein (I find pork to be the easiest for me to digest), and if I have room 1/2 cup of steamed veggies
3pm: GNC Total Lean shake
5pm: Dinner is another 2-4oz of protein, and 1/2 cup of steamed veggies
7pm: Fat free cottage cheese
9pm: Vitamins & a SF popsicle, jello, or pudding
Comes out to 1000-1200 calories a day, with 40% or more of them from protein, and then 30% fat and 30% carbs. I always get over 100g of protein a day, usually more like 120g. It seems like all I do is eat. And I still haven't actually felt hungry since surgery almost 5 months ago, so it's hard to get it in, but when I skip a meal or snack I tend to feel pretty crappy then for the rest of the day. Weekends are hard b/c we do the gym M-F and that helps keep the schedule set. Weekends are when I tend to skip stuff, and pay for it later.

Protein Shake with Banana and Berries
Protein Bar
Breakfast: Toast (white) and egg
Yougurt
Lunch: 3-4oz meat & 1/4 veg
Protein Bar & Yogurt or Cheese Sticks
Fiber One Brownie
Frozen Yogurt
Dinner: 3-4oz meat & 1/4 veg
Protein Shake With Berries
Dry Cereal or with Yogurt
Will typically add one or two more protein bars in there. I will also take in 1-3 ounces of cheese.
This places me at about 160-200grams of protein a day :) and I typically get in in 2200-2600 calories .
Now if you know my lifestyle these levels are a must so unless you want to work like I do then don't attempt this at home . If you don't know my lifestyle the read some of my posts which will include BUSTING OUT A 2.5 MILE SWIM in around 90min this morning. I'm sure Nik ill come along and call me out too, as she is cool like that.

It's weird because when I read that I was like...wow that is awesome, I wish I could do that. I could probably do it but feel like I'd be hungry. However, if I got in all the water I am supposed to I may not be that hungry. I know I can't copy what others do but it's nice to see how differently others eat.
Some days I"m hungrier than others and would stick another snack or two in there. The last couple days I really haven't felt very hungry at all. I actually skipped dinner tonight - well, my snack of roasted chickpeas was around dinner time, but that was still almost five hours ago and I rarely go that long without eating. I'm gonna make myself a protein shake in a minute even though I'm still not really hungry because I need to get my protein in and I don't want my blood sugar to get too low.
Getting enough liquids really can help you feel full, though.

Usually:
B: Protein shake - 2 scoops
S: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and a banana
L: Greek yogurt and Kashi Go Lean. My trainer asked me to incorporate a pasta item on days I do spin, so today I had four whopping pieces of ravioli & homemade sauce (my best friend made it)
S: Peanut butter and apple, or peanut butter and celery
D: Split pea soup, or a shake, spin days will be a protein bar
S: Cheese strings
I have to work on incorporating more fruit during the day.
