I am so happy for you!  I have an appointment with my original surgeon at the end of the month. Same situation I believe. Can you give any insights into the challenges you had to face with the revision?  Thank you!

Once I spoke to the surgeon he pretty much got the ball rolling. I had to have an upper GI and endoscopy done. My insurance only took a week to approve once they submitted my information. If you have any specific questions let me know.

When I spoke to his nurse she was nice but a bit condescending; she had her surgery in 2009 as well.  She has kept hers off - she became a marathon runner. I had foot surgery which has prevented me from any impact type exercising.   I also am riddled with arthritis so not in the best shape for even simple walking.

The last couple of years I have put on 60 lbs. I am hungry constantly and just don't feel full or satisfied anymore. I don't know what symptoms would indicate revision may be needed.  I had such success (189 lost) and settled in at 171 for 4 years. Then I started getting hungry and just cannot seem to ever get satiated.

Fingers crossed that it is something that can be physically repairable. I LOVED the control that I experienced with my pouch and am baffled how out of control my hunger has become.  I miss my pouch!

i am keeping you in my prayers for safe procedure and easy recovery.

I am getting a revision because I have severe GERD. Plus I did not lose that much with the first procedure(44 pounds). Also, look into your insurance to see if they will cover revisions.
