Wow I'm so nervous I met the surgeon today and have a surgery date for next Tuesday July 10 for my RNY. I never expected it to happen so soon. On the bright side of things they will take my gallbladder out at the sametime. So I am now starting optifast today. Hopefully all goes well I will keep everyone posted after my surgery.

Has your gall bladder been acting up? I'm having issues off & on since December of last year, I'm seeing my family doctor to see if I can get it out, gall bladder attacks are no joke!

Thanks for the encouragement I need it. Yes my gallbladder has been acting up for about a year now. I have had 3 bad gallbladder attacks and I would not wish that on anyone. I was so happy when the dr said she would remove it as well.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
