Good morning all. Slow getting going today. Not much on the go. Some house work, maybe a movie.

We put in a vegetable garden this year. I originally started seeds for acorn squash. My DH planted them too early and they died. I picked up some spaghetti squash on sale. The plants are huge. They travel about 6 feet. I am going to have enough squash to last for a very long time. I just picked a huge one that still needs to ripen a little. I have at least 7 more coming. Yesterday I googled how to preserve the squash. I am afraid they will all ripen while we are away and rot. So far we have eaten lettuce, green onions and garlic from the garden. Yesterday I made pesto from the basil I have.

b greek yogurt, peach

l tuna, mayo, crackers

d chicken, peas, cabbage salad

s tea

Good morning :)

Off to my conference today. I'm hoping the rain holds off until I get there ;)

I don't really have a green thumb but I have a few indoor plants that are doing well. I started basil and parsley from seeds this year and my parents gave us tomatoes and geraniums to plant. There were existing strawberry and raspberry plants when we moved in that I'm trying to move without killing. We will see what survived when we get home.

Breakfast - eggs and sausage

Snack - bacon jerky

Lunch - tbd restaurant

Snack - protein bar

Dinner - tbd

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

We are off to Grand Bend to my parents trailer today. I think they are still pretty weirded out when I'm around and what they will feed me. I keep telling them I'm good for basically anything except for pizza etc. It wont' be a nice enough day to do a lot of the fun trailer things we do but we'll be able to relax.

I haven't logged my food yet today as I'm uncertain as to what we will have but I think this will be it:

B: Premier Protein & decaf

L: unknown

D: 3/4 hamburger patty without bun, cheese, ketchup, mustard and onion

S: Premier protein

Haven't figured out lunch yet so I haven't logged it into myfitnesspal yet.

LOVE lettuce from the garden. I used to have a roof terrace with large garden that was perfect for planting veggies. Lots of sun and no animals.

we have too many trees at the house to grow veggies now. I really miss picking tomatoes fresh.

Horrible good day for me today which is odd considering I am goi g for my 6 month check in tomorrow. It is only 5.5 months so they. Poked me a bit early. Here is what I had (head down in shame)

breakfast: sugar free rice pudding

lunch: chicken skewer with 2 tsp taziki sauce

s ack: pretzel crackers with peanut butter

unolanned snacking: couple handful trail mix, couple handfuls crackers, 1 brownie, 2 spoons ice cream

dinner: chicken and rice (maybe half a cup in total)

the unplanned snacking was fast, furious and gross and I feel gross now. Obviously something is going on in my head. Good timing for my 2 hour social work class tomorrow. I cannot wait.

referral: early June 2016; surgery Feb 21, 2017

It's ok Leeann. It is hard to be perfect all of the time. There must be an immense sense of pressure to always do the right thing once you've had surgery. I'm glad you shared this. Being honest and real are strong character traits. I hope someone can help you tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you and hoping for the best.
