There is only so much $$ that the Health Care system can dish out...so as much as it would be wonderful if everyone was a successful candidate....just remember the gastric by-pass surgery was probably close if not over $24,000.00

Anyone can apply but you have to meet the criteria and although I firmly believe that sometimes the person screening the application, has the ability to hold the outcome in their hands for the most part they do follow whatever guidelines are set out for them.  That's why I went ahead and appealed..if you can't give me more than a one word reason why I was (denied)...I will give you 12 pages of WHY I should qualify.~!!

Sorry to hear that you were denied. I understand the disappointment but even without the surgery you look amazing. enlightened

thank you for all the words of encouragement, i think it is worth looking into an appeal. I've never given up easy, so why start now??? So whats the first step??
